Marie’s legacy - Aullwood Garden MetroPark is 2.2 miles away from the Lodge // a must visit for all of our guests and a local treasure.

Known as the godmother of the Miami Valley environmental movement, Marie Aull lived from 1897 to 2002—her 105-year life touched an incredible three centuries. In 1957, Aull made history by establishing the Midwest’s first National Audubon Society nature center.

Wow 🤯 Billions of Gallons!

Amazing!

Thanks for trusting us to protect your community. We’re on it. 💪

22.5 billion gallons. 12th largest flood event. That’s how much water our system just stored across the region—keeping homes, roads, and businesses safe.

It worked. But it worked hard.

Now, we’re clearing debris, checking for damage, and lining up repairs—because bigger storms mean bigger cleanups, and the system has to work even harder to keep up.

Our full capacity is 274 billion gallons—so there’s still room to handle more.

But keeping the system strong takes ongoing investment and attention.

It’s not just about what it did yesterday—it’s about being ready for what’s next.
