An original Walt Disney World hotel, Disney's Contemporary Resort offers sleek, mid-century modern accommodations just steps away from Magic Kingdom. It's known for the legendary monorail that runs right through the center of the A-frame hotel.

Bay Lake Tower is a Disney Vacation Club Resort located next door, offering the experience of the Contemporary with larger room options such as deluxe studios and multi-bedroom villas.

What makes it great:

✨ Unbeatable Location - Imagine walking to Magic Kingdom in under 10 minutes. No folding strollers. No long security lines. No waiting on a bus to show up. Plus, you can take the monorail to EPCOT and catch amazing views along the way.

✨ Incredible Dining - It offers two famous restaurants, plus a few additional spots. California Grill is a signature, rooftop restaurant with stunning views of Cinderella Castle and the Magic Kingdom fireworks. Chef Mickey's is a popular character meal featuring Mickey, Minnie, and their friends.

During my most recent visit to Animal Kingdom, my main goal was to see Bakso, a six month old tiger cub, and his mom, Sohni. Maharajah Jungle Trek has always been one of my favorite trails.

I also got to see Conrad, their adult male, as he lounged in the sun.

I love that this park has so many opportunities to experience nature and detailed Disney theming without waiting in line. Simply stroll through and see what you get to see.

The animal specialists are happy to answer questions and point out interesting features, and you can pick up field guides and join the Wilderness Explorers program.

If Daylight Savings Time isn’t bringing out the best in everyone today (losing an hour of sleep is rough!), here are a few ideas to save the day:

✨ Get outside in the sunshine: Go for a walk, play at the park, or sit outside for lunch

✨ Set up a fun “spa” bath for the kids: bath fizzies, toys, calm music, and some sweet smelling lotion

✨ Bake together: there are few days that a plate of warm, chocolate chip cookies can’t save

Now go change that pesky stove clock and let’s spring forward into an amazing week!

Welcome to Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

This beautiful Moderate Resort feels like a Deluxe, with elegant details throughout the public areas and a sleek, modern room.

It’s known for its rooftop restaurant and lounge that offer spectacular views, and you may even be able to spot fireworks over EPCOT if you time it right!

I loved sampling Spanish-inspired coffee and muffins in the morning, but you’ll also find plenty of familiar favorites. While this resort only offers buses to the parks and Disney Springs, they’re easy to access.

This is one of my favorite resorts for adults-only trips or families with older teens, but with a great pool, a water slide, and plenty of fun Disney details, it can be fun for the whole family!

Known as “The World’s Biggest Weekend,” this Oasis Class ship has made a big splash since its debut last year.

Here are a few things to love about this ship:

⚓️ Offering 3-4 night sailings out of Port Canaveral, it’s easy to access as an add-on to an Orlando vacation (or a vacation all on its own).

⚓️ It features 5 pools, 8 hot tubs, 3 water slides, 21 dining venues, and 23 bars.

⚓️ It’s designed for families as much as it’s designed for adults, with a popular kids’ program, a variety of shows, and dedicated areas for thrills, family fun, nightlife, and relaxation.

I toured this magnificent ship last week, and I was so impressed with how its design gives everyone room to spread out and vacation their way.

Beginning September 9th, you’ll have two ways to experience TRON: Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom: ✨ Standby Queue (traditional line) ✨ Lightning Lane Single Pass (paid option with a shorter wait) The last day for the Virtual Queue will be September 8th. This is sure to make Tomorrowland even more popular at rope drop, so adjust your plans if this ride is a priority!

After a long day of unpacking, we stopped to take in the sights and sounds of the California coast. In New Mexico, we watched for hot air balloons dotting the sky. In Ohio, we toured the history of the Wright Brothers. And here in California, I don’t think we’ll ever get tired of this view.
