We live in a cozy home in Dayton, Ohio, with our two amazing kids and our dog. We've been working as a team for over six years (we've been married for over eight!), and we have photographed hundreds of weddings together, not to mention countless engagement sessions. We're passionate about creating jaw dropping images, but not at the expense of being real. People often describe our photos as "natur

al" and "authentic," and that couldn't be more of a compliment. Over the years we've learned how to read our couples, to communicate our vision, and to encourage real, emotional connections in front of the camera. We are available for travel throughout the state of Ohio and nationwide. Our passports are always valid, and we love to travel.

There’s nothing more meaningful than capturing the moment two dear friends from church vow forever to one another. Kendall and Amanda’s wedding at The Willow Tree Inn was overflowing with joy, love, and the kind of connection that touches everyone in the room. Spring made its debut just in time, wrapping their day in soft sunlight and blooming beauty. It was truly a beautiful celebration of faith, friendship, and forever love.

How long ago do you think this wedding was?

2 years? 5? Maybe even 10?

The truth is, we aren’t really keeping count. Because when something is real—when it’s full of connection, ease, and deep trust—it doesn’t age. It just is.

Looking back at Lauren + Max’s wedding, it could’ve been yesterday. Or a decade ago. That’s what we hope for every couple we photograph: photos that feel just as true now as they did then.

This time of year I cannot help but get excited about flower season! I’ve been buying my flowers at Trader Joe’s for the last few months and cannot wait to walk out into my yard and pick my own once again. Last year a grew my own dahlias, this year I’m adding a few more varieties into the mix. There’s nothing like fresh flowers to liven up a room!

That’s one of the things we love about . They grow all their own flowers right there at . Not only do they have the greenest thumb around but they are able to create stunning florals for your wedding day! One of our favorite parts of Meran + Justin’s wedding was the floral installation down the aisle. How dreamy is it to walk down the aisle under a curtain of florals?

Happy spring ya’ll! We’ve officially made it!

I’ve been thinking “tomorrow is Friday” all week so it feels good to say it’s finally here! We have a packed weekend of gymnastic competitions, school performances, youth hangs in our backyard, flag football, church and hockey. So many, many things but all very, very good things. Our life is full but it’s full of little flourish moments of our loved ones that make the busy worth every minute.

At other times, it is fueled by the warm and enduring bonds shared among family members.

Sometimes, inspiration is sparked by the intricate and captivating lines of architecture that surround us.

In certain instances, it is inspired by the couple’s bold and timeless style, which exudes confidence and elegance.

Every now and then, inspiration is found in the way light gracefully and artistically falls all around us, creating a magical ambiance.

In Andrea + Charlie’s case, inspiration was derived from all of the above, creating a wedding day that was both deeply personal and visually stunning.

Remember that time we flew to New Mexico with our kids, left our kids with friends in Albuquerque and then drove to Sedona to be apart of the most intimate wedding? We love a grand adventure and this one was not lacking! Looking back the only thing we’d do different would be to spend more time amongst the red rocks. I think it’s time we go back!

It may be snowy outside but we are already planning for the warmer days.

As much as we are in the moment on your wedding day, behind the scenes we are months ahead. Scheduling shoots, preparing day of schedules, meeting with planners, all while leaving room for our kids, each other and our community. This life is so full but it is full in the best way!

18 years!!

This has been a year of ups and downs and turnarounds. There have been more tears, laughter and a deep sense of gratitude more than ever this year. We have peeled back new layers and have great anticipation for the fruit that is to come from it. Through it all I know that our love is steadfast, filled with grace and a new sense of humility. Today and every day I still choose you .

May our marriage always be one that reflects the Divine Love that always protects, always trust, always hopes and always perseveres.

Engagement sessions can be whatever you want them to be. You can dress in your best, snuggled up at home in your coziest pants, on a kayak at your favorite lake or in the back booth of your go-to spot. We just ask that they be you!

Spending the evening wandering through Over the Rhine with Conner + Liz felt like we were hanging out in their own back yard. They were at ease, full of laughter and confidence. Living just down the road this park has become a go to place for them, and they had the stories to go with it. Dressed to the nines, we started with casual beers in Washing Park. Then to take it to the next level of them we then wandered over to Skyline to finish the evening off with one of their favorite causal meals.
