The Oregon District is getting ready for the 40th Annual Hauntfest!👻🎉

Dayton’s biggest Halloween party celebrates “Horror Through the Decades”, so come dressed as your favorite iconic horror villain and get ready for a night of spooky fun!

Enjoy live music, food trucks, and a wickedly fun costume contest with prizes. And for the first time, Hauntfest is adding family-friendly daytime activities, including a costumed fun run, candy crawl, and pumpkin decorating. 🎃

The Destination Dayton team attended the Ohio Travel Association Conference in Wilmington, Ohio for the annual RUBY Awards Luncheon, celebrating excellence in Ohio’s tourism and travel industry.

Destination Dayton received six nominations recognizing our targeted marketing campaign, travel guide, print advertisements, and more. We’re proud to receive two Citations of Excellence for our Mailer Box Campaign and semi-truck trailer wrap design! 🎉

A special congratulations to the National Aviation Heritage Area for their two RUBY Award wins for Lights Over Dayton, the spectacular drone show presented in partnership with the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force!

The Annual Out Here Dayton Film Fest is returning for its 21st year! 🎉🎬

This long-running film festival celebrates LGBTQ+ cinema from around the world and is coming to The NEON October 9-11.

Throughout the weekend, viewers can enjoy 20 short and feature-length films showcasing a diverse range of LGBTQ+ stories and perspectives.

The festival will also kick off with an Opening Night Party on Friday, October 9, at the new Piccolo Orsetto!
