Bouldering in Rhea County—Welcome to Dayton Pocket

Looking for world-class bouldering right here in Tennessee? Dayton Pocket delivers.

Why Climbers Love It:
• One of the highest concentrations of double-digit boulder problems in the Southeast
• Iconic lines like the Honeycomb Roof with powerful, gym-like movement
• A wide range of problems—from technical slabs to steep, dynamic routes
• Quiet, scenic setting tucked inside the Laurel-Snow Pocket Wilderness

Boulders are located just off the trail along Richland Creek—making for a short, rewarding hike in.
