A NEW script about Laura Ingalls Wilder life and presented out doors in a theater on the Prairie setting!!!

Pageant announcement! 🥳

Join us for our 52nd anniversary pageant in De Smet, Heart of the Prairie.

Heart of the Prairie follows Laura Ingalls and her family as they settle�in Dakota Territory with hopes of homesteading and building the new frontier town of De Smet. Facing the hardships and struggles of pioneer life, they endure the Hard Winter working together with the community to survive. As the Ingalls family works their homestead claim, Laura and her sisters grow into young women, who continue their education, make new friends and dream about the happy years to come.

In addition to the pageant performance, each weekend will have entertainment on the grounds before the show. With special activities planned for the whole family, we hope to make your visit to the Little Town on the Prairie fun and memorable!
