I DID IT!!!!! I completed a 3-year goal today of earning my own IATA number. This is huge for a travel agent. I thought I had missed it but it turns out I accomplished it. I wish I was able to go out and celebrate but believe me once we are able to go out and celebrate I will be celebrating this. For now I celebrate at home with a beer. I could not be more excited!

They are busy and overwhelmed just like everyone/everything else. The up side is if you booked with a travel agent then they are doing this for you 😉.

I have been looking for a thank you note online that I could post but could not find one that I liked or that expressed the kind of thanks that needs to be conveyed to you all.
Thank you for doing the job that most people wont
Thank you for showing up when no one else will
Thank you for putting your own safety and well-being at risk to care for those who need to be cared for
Thank you for being there through sickness
Thank you for staying at hospitals overnight in bad weather and giving up time with your families to make sure others are cared for
Thank you for your bravery, compassion, sleepless nights, long shifts, care, missing time with your families and giving your all to people you don't know and may never see again.

I do have to admit that Thursday Therapy - Kansas City is my favorite networking event. I look forward to their themed events every month. I just looked a head at April's and have already started a Pinterest board and I'm on the hunt for my outfit!!!!!
