Bring the Old West to life with Deadwood Alive!
Check out “Black Hills Wildlife – Then and Now”. Experience an educational and entertaining hands-on program describing how Deadwood's gold-mining pioneers of the mid-1870s to the turn of the century, interacted with the area's wildlife. Using teeth, claws, fur and footprints of Black Hills creatures, gunslingers provide details of the animals in the area, the habitats they lived and thrived in, how the human population interacted with the wildlife and how things have changed over time.

This interesting and free show takes place Monday - Saturday at 4:30 p.m. in the Gold Street Courtyard. Get all the details at DeadwoodAlive.com.

Great American Road Trip Package starts at $650 for a family of four! Call us at 605-578-7702 to book!

Within a breathtaking drive of Mt Rushmore, visit the places that put South Dakota on the map. The Great American Road Trip features the 244,000 acre Badlands National Park & MinuteMan National Historic Site; Custer State Park home to 1200 free roaming Bison; and the Mammoth Site, an internationally renowned indoor working paleontological site where 61 mammoths have been unearthed! North of Mt Rushmore discover Historic Deadwood where the entire town is a National Historic Landmark and where you’ll experience shoot-outs and live entertainment on Main Street.

Our partners at Deadwood Alive have something new for us!!! Starting tomorrow they will have a Deadwood Carriage ride available at 6:30pm, 7:00pm and 7:30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. 🤠 Patrol the streets of Historic Deadwood with some of the first lawdogs with the "Lawman's Patrol: Guided Walking Tour". They will guide you through time on this multi-stop walking tour of the National Historic Landmark District. 🤠

This tour requires walking, long periods of standing and navigating stairs and must be booked 24 hours in advance, $15 per person. The tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in length. Monday - Saturday during the summer season, 12:00 p.m., starts at Midnight Star on Historic Main Street.
