It is with profound sadness to share the passing of our Mayor Tim Verzal.

Mayor, Tim Verzal is a long-time resident and active member of the Deer Park Community. The Continued growth and development of the City is important to Tim because of his genuine love of the area and its incredible people. Tim is the proud Father of a Son and three Daughters, as well as four granddaughters. Tim cares a great deal about our local businesses and is invested in improving the City's economic and aesthetic qualities. His primary goal during his time as Mayor is to make Deer Park a City where anyone would be proud to live.

With nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience, Undersheriff Lundgren brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his role with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office. We’re excited to hear more about his career, his current role, and the work being done throughout our community.

It’s time for our September Chamber Luncheon announcement! 🎉

Join us Tuesday, September 15th for a great lunch, some time to connect with fellow Chamber members, and an opportunity to hear from Spokane County Undersheriff Justin Lundgren.

Undersheriff Lundgren brings nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience. He began his career with the Spokane Police Department in 1997 and has served in a variety of roles, including patrol, investigations, the Bomb Squad, Internal Affairs, Assistant Chief, and Interim Chief of Police. He joined the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office in 2024 and currently oversees the Unincorporated Patrol Division.

We’re looking forward to hearing more about his experience and his role with the Sheriff’s Office — and, of course, enjoying lunch and good conversation with our Chamber community!
