I wasn’t going to make a post, but I’m extremely annoyed. Over the past week, somebody physically took Chippys AirTag off and tossed it somewhere near the Hayes building. The AirTag could not have just fallen off because his collar was still on him. You have to take off his collar to put the AirTag in/out. I bought a new one for him Saturday, put it on and sent him on his way. Now, somebody took him clear out to Dublin. I’m assuming they dropped him off at colony cats since that is in the area. But they’re closed until Tuesday evening. I did send an email. I would hope they scan his microchip and would contact me but if anyone has any ideas of how to contact them outside of business hours, let me know! Thank you

It’s getting to that time of year where people become overly rude to me about Chippy being outdoors. So here we go:
- Chippy knows how to get home (and does) when he’s too cold.
- There is a heated cat house on my porch.
- The days that I know the temperature will get too low, we go pick him up.
- He has friends who willingly let him stay over.

We go through this every year where I get attacked, accused and called a bad cat mom. That boy does not care what the weather is, he loves the outdoors. I have had others claim they can “keep him indoors” and “make him an indoor cat” or “give him a better home”, and I have let them try. It all ends with the same outcome. Chippy will p**s, poo and destroy everything he can if he is kept in against his will and will get out anyways.

I know the dangers of having an outdoor cat. I know the outcome may end badly. But I will NOT make Chippys life miserable by forcing him to stay indoors. He loves the outdoors and he loves this community.

And if you have something negative to say, people message me privately. Just know that I work 5 days a week and having nursing classes 3 nights a week. I am trying my best.

Mr Chippys AirTag has fallen off again.. We have searched the area the past 3 days, kicking up leaves and trying to get close enough for the alert to sound, with no luck.. Its range keeps moving between 150 N Franklin and 17 Griswold.. If everyone in that area could keep an eye out I would appreciate it ❤️

Our little escape artist has lost his AirTag again.. the kids and I were able to connect to it in front of 17 Griswold st but weren’t able to hear the noise it makes.. the AirTag would not connect if we moved a house over or crossed the street which means it is in the vicinity of 17 Griswold.. we will try again tonight when it’s a little quieter outside but if our Griswold friends could keep an eye out that would be great

It has come to my attention that Chippys AirTag and collar has fallen off. This is roughly the location it is showing. Chippy is accounted for at the Hayes Building for the moment. But if anyone near the pictured area could please check around I would appreciate it! 🩷
