🚢 WHAT AM I MOST EXCITED ABOUT?
Everyone is excited about DCL returning to NYC next year. And don't get me wrong, for those in the Northeast this news is game-changing. And I do LOVE that DCL is visiting Bermuda. Add this to my list of desired itineraries. (The 8-night on the Fantasy with both Lookout and Castaway 😍.)
But it's not what I am most excited about this time around.

So why am I hyped?
1.) Destiny is moving to Port Canaveral for the first time. This makes the newest ship more accessible to those who are driving in and for those wanting to do a land-and-sea vacation, partnering a cruise with the theme parks.

2.) What does this move mean for what is coming? We know Disney Believe is launching in 2027 and expect to have more information on October 7th in terms of timeline and itineraries, but I think one can expect it will be out of Disney's Port Everglades now that there is room. And this is really what I am waiting for! Anyone else?

MICKEY'S NOT SO SCARY HALLOWEEN PARTY! 🎃👻🍬
This is hands-down one of my favorite events Disney hosts each year. The costumes, the characters, the candy, what's not to love?
The BOO TO YOU parade goes down in my book as the absolute best parade Disney offers. The headless horseman, the gravediggers, the villians. Come on!

DISNEY EARMARKED FORUM! 🏰
Last week, I was invited to Disney to participate in an Earmarked Silver and Gold Agency Owners Forum. As co-owner of Wishes Family Travel it was a privilege to represent our agency and other agencies and have a voice at the table.

Myself and 15 other agency owners were selected to spend a couple of days with Disney Executives hearing about future plans, discussing ideas, and collaborating together to make sure our clients are having the best vacations possible.

Our advisors work so hard to maintain our Earmarked Status and it was a privilege just to be in the room. When you book with Wishes Family Travel, you can be confident not only in our first-hand knowledge of these destinations, but also our strong partnerships with Disney and all of our suppliers.

Toy Story 5 debuts in theaters today. I was 11 years old when the original was released. There’s history there.

But it wasn’t until my oldest, Noah, fell in love with these same characters that the spark was ignited. Woody and Jessie went everywhere with us.
I wasn’t a Disney-crazed young adult. It was until our family first visit to Magic Kingdom when Noah spotted “The Real Woody” from across the way and his excitement was palpable (see below) that I understood Disney Magic. And I was hooked.
It was then that I became slightly obsessed with our next trip- and seeing through Magic in my kiddos eyes. Planning to perfection, researching every detail- I became the crazy Disney Planner.

So as this movie comes out today, I have a soft spot for these characters. And my heart aches a bit as I reflect on little ones who were once asking to peek around the corner to spot their favorite character, as they are now grown and busy with high school homework and dance classes.

Let your kiddos fall in love with these beloved characters. Then take the trip and experience the Magic like you only can in the parks. They’re only small once.

I’m only hoping we can squeeze in the movie this weekend between ballgames. ⚾️

Alaska! 🦀🐋🚞🏔️🪓
I have so much to share from my trip last week. Overall, it was a dream! From scenic railways, to whale watching, hikes, and endless crab, the experience far exceeded any of my expectations. I will start breaking it down by port and talk specifically about each stop, as well as share more about the Disney Wonder.

But to start, who would I suggest an Alaskan cruise to?
🥾 Those who enjoy the outdoors. The natural beauty of Alaska is breathtaking.
🚢 Those who love cruising but are ready for something outside the Caribbean. Although I love my Caribbean sailings, this was something different and now ranks among my very top sailings.
🚁 Those who love adventure! There is no shortage of amazing excursions to choose from in these ports.
🦅 Those who love wildlife! The whale watching, the eagles, and more!
🦀 Those who have never been to Alaska and want to get a taste. We were able to experience multiple ports and see different areas and glaciers. I now have a good idea of the places I’d like to return and spend more time.

🚢 LET’S SET SAIL!
Out of office this week as I embark on the Disney Wonder to Alaska! 🐋
This is a new ship, new port, new itinerary, and new adventures for me.

The best way for me to advise clients is to be able to speak to my first-hand experiences and it was time for this one.

I can’t wait to not only share my time on the ship and glacier viewing, but also my experiences in Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan this week. Settle in, and follow along. Here is a glimpse of Day #1!
