Grab your hats and dust off your boots!

Saddle up for a summer of fast turns, flying dirt, and family fun at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Walton!

The Delaware County Benefit Barrel Races return with four exciting shows in 2026: June 20, July 18, September 5, and October 3. Competitors of all ages and experience levels are welcome, with divisions ranging from Lead Line and Walk/Trot to Open and Green Horse.

And while you're marking your calendars, don't forget the 139th Delaware County Fair, coming August 17–22, 2026. It's another great way to enjoy the fairgrounds and support our agricultural community all summer long.

Enjoy a day filled with live music, small-town charm, and the kind of community spirit that makes summer in Delaware County so special. Stroll through Walton, discover local talent, and take in the energy of this beloved annual event.

Lace up and show your colors at the Walton High School GSA & Student Council Color Run 5K on Saturday, June 13th. 🌈

This colorful community fun run welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities for a morning celebrating inclusion, community, and support for LGBTQIA+ youth. The event takes place from 8:30AM – 11:00AM on the Walton High School cross country course, with colorful chalk along the route, snacks and drinks, and a T-shirt for all registered paid runners.

🎟️ Registration:
Adults: $25
Children 12 and under: $20
Children 7 and under: Free

Proceeds will benefit the Trevor Project and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Delaware County Pride will also be on site with information and resources.

Register by June 6th to be guaranteed a T-shirt.
