What the flock!?! We got flocked!

Local students (with help from their parents and largely, Kimberly Danforth) have been putting on all sorts of events to raise money for a trip to Europe!

If you’re in town and want to support the cause, try to catch trivia night at Smokin Barrels-, save your bottles for the bottle drive happening in July, or get flocked!!

Who should we pass our flock on to!?🦩

Trails are opening soon!! 🤘

Just received the final okay we have been waiting for 🙂

ATV trails will open this Friday, May 22nd. .

South Trail and East Trail toward Rockwood will be open but the Club trail is not open yet.

we’ve had a young cow moose hanging out by the cabins the last few days!

contacted game wardens initially when she wasn’t moving or eating, but she’s up and going now! They decided it’s best to just let her be and hope she’ll move farther into the woods soon. She survived a tough winter and hopefully will fully recover.

If you’re local and drive this way, be on the lookout, she’s crossed the roads a few times already

It’s definitely been a treat to hangout and watch her.

You never know what you’ll see in your backyard up here! 🫎

Having enjoyed reading notes from past visitors on our own trips—we decided to put notebooks in the cabins for guests to write in.

Here are a few of our favorite entries from the past year. (One book went home with a guest by mistake, but to be returned!)

a year of NCC! Signed the papers and took the keys a year ago (yesterday) and what a year it’s been!

Survived all four seasons and had an incredible first year in business and as new residents to the area.

Life up here has a way of forcing you to slow down, to live by the change of seasons and to appreciate + enjoy everything nature has to offer.

We wouldn’t be able to do this without all of the people who make space in their lives and take time to do just that.

Thank you for all of the support- for mentioning us to people you know, for sharing our posts, for buying our merch, for staying with us + following along!

We’re super happy to have a full year under our belts and can’t wait to see what the next one will bring ✨
