📢 Heads up:

🟢 UPDATE: White Ranch - East Trailhead will reopen on Tuesday, March 11.

🟢 UPDATE: Matthews-Winters reopen as of Monday, March 3.

🟢 UPDATE: Hildebrand will reopen on Sunday, March 2.

🟢 UPDATE: Apex and Mount Falcon will reopen on Saturday, March 1.

⛔️ CLOSED: Effective Monday, February 24, Apex, Mt. Falcon - Morrison Trailhead, White Ranch - East Trailhead, Hildebrand Ranch, & Matthews/Winters Parks closed for muddy trail conditions until further notice.

Muddy trails are an issue because of degradation to the natural resources around it (widening of the trail and damage to surrounding vegetation/ecosystem), along with erosion and long-term sustainability. Trails that get used when muddy can take a long time to recover from deep ruts and new paths created around them. If you come across a small patch of mud in a recently reopened park, please go through it, not around it.

Thank you for your patience!

What a magical night for our Valentine’s Snowshoe, S’mores & Hot Springs event! ❄️ The crew was fun and adventurous, the snow fell just right, and s’mores by the fire (plus Valentine’s cards!) made it extra special. Ending the night in the hot springs? Perfection. ♨️❤️
