Ever wondered what it looks like inside Myanmar? Before troubles escalated there, we traveled there many times to visit our Together We Can Change The World projects, including a home for kids whose parents died of AIDS. Inspiring to watch this video again. I'm grateful to TWCCTW for the difference we make with those projects. We cannot do all the good that the world needs, but the world needs all the good that we can do.

Who can spot the Sphinx? This was shot from the back of a camel on my trip with Manifest Travel Connect. The part you can't hear (wind noise) says I was surprised that the city of Cairo is all around the pyramids. I thought they were just surrounded by desert. Who can find the Great Sphinx in the last part of the video where I'm pointing at the city?

Wow! I got quoted at a friend's church, Arise Church Denver and my friend Dean Savoca let me know. I'm grateful to my beloved family from Grady UMC, my Methodist minister uncles, Rev. Clyde Stanfield and Rev. Clarence Stanfield, and my hometown church, First Methodist Church of Clovis, NM, where I learned that philosophy, and to my dad, songwriter/entertainer James Stanfield, who passed away last week, who taught me to write songs. Thanks, Dean, what a thrill!

I am, and we are...because he was. We are so grateful to Grady United Methodist Church, and Grady Baptist Church where people cooked and brought food for our entire funeral party so that we could connect and celebrate my dad James. Our parents, James and Nancy McCasland Stanfield Ferguson, were raised in there. For this final version of Dad's tribute, I added a 3rd song featuring him with his beloved children, greats, and grands.

James Stanfield was raised in Grady, New Mexico and went on to a career as an entertainer, educator, and entrepreneur. He was a man with big talent, big idea...

To everyone who has reached out about our dad, James Stanfield's passing...thank you, and thanks for understanding that my sister, Julie Stanfield Robertson Strickland and my brother, Doug Stanfield can't respond yet. Visitation is today at 4 in Clovis, NM, at Muffley Funeral Home, with the funeral at 11 a.m. tomorrow in Grady tomorrow at Grady Methodist Church. Our dad was an entertainer and educator who lived a very full life, as you can see in our tribute video for him.

My dad, James Stanfield, was an amazing human, as you'll see in this video tribute, which is my labor of love for him. To see it, click on the “Tribute Wall” within the obituary. I'm feeling proud of who my dad was, and grateful for all he passed on to me, my sister Julie Stanfield Robertson Strickland and my brother, Doug Stanfield. He couldn't have done it without the love and support of my mom, Nancy McCasland Stanfield Ferguson. For their kindness to my dad, we're also grateful to the awesome team Muffley Funeral Home for their help with this video tribute, to the caring friends at Plains Regional Medical Center and Presbyterian Healthcare Services/Hospice, Retirement Ranch, and especially BeeHive Homes of Clovis. We're grateful to Dad's beloved friends, Gloria Drake and Ernestine Aranda who helped him live as he wanted, independently, for so long.
