Every year, a handful of hotel openings rise above the noise - the ones the industry can't stop talking about before they've even opened their doors. We keep close tabs on these debuts so you don't have to, and this year's list is one of the best yet! Here are five new hotel openings we're especially excited about.
Rocco Forte Hotel, Costa Smeralda (Sardinia, Italy)
Rocco Forte's first hotel on the island, and it's going to be a showstopper. This 64-room beachfront resort on Sardinia's famed Emerald Coast has 3 restaurants, a rooftop bar over the Tyrrhenian Sea, and a private beach. Expected to open in 2027.
El Cortés (Mexico City, Mexico)
Tucked into a restored 1915 mansion in the Roma Norte neighborhood, this 15-room boutique hotel is intimate luxury done right - curated art, private terraces in every room, and a European-meets-Mexican menu. Small, stylish, and one of the most talked-about openings in the city.
Serras Sevilla (Seville, Spain)
A historic 1917 building steps from Seville Cathedral, this new Serras property is an intimate 43-room hotel with a rooftop pool and amazing views. Refined, storied, and exactly the kind of address that makes the Serras brand one of our favorites.
Four Seasons Resort, Caye Chapel (Belize)
The first major luxury brand to land in Belize, this private 280-acre island features overwater bungalows, a Greg Norman golf course, and direct access to the Belize Barrier Reef.
Ikos Kissamos (Crete, Greece)
With 53 acres of gardens, seven restaurants helmed by Michelin-starred chefs, and the brand's signature all-inclusive luxury, this new resort is worth booking early for next summer!
