The Continental Divide - also known as the Great Divide - Runs from Cape Prince of Wales Alaska to the Straight of Magellan in South America. It separates the flow of rivers from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. Over 700 miles and the highest points of the Divide in North America run through Colorado and we have two tours where you can stand on this geological phenomenon - Our Ultimate Mountain Tour to Breckenridge and our summer Rocky Mountain National Park tour!!

Happy Moose Monday!!
Moose are the largest members of the deer family. Males can grow up to 7 feet tall from hoof to shoulder and can weight up to 1300lbs. A flap of skin called a delap hands from theh throat. Males are distinguished from females by their antlers which grow up to six feet across and look like the palms of hands. Eacch of their light to dark brown hairs is hollow, and the air trapped inside provides insulation. The word moose is an Alonguin term meaning "eater of twigs". Moose are so tall that they have difficulty bending down to eat grasses so they prefer to feed on leaves, bark, and twigs from trees and shrubs. Their favorite foods come from native willow, aspen, and balsam fir trees. They also munch on aquatic plants from streams and ponds. Young calves stay with their mothers for ayear before venturing off to live a solitary lifestyle. Moose can live more than 20 years in the wild, but many begin to suffer the sympstoms of old age before then. A more typical lifespan is 10-12 years.
Did you know Moose, while a common sight in Rocky Mountain National Park nowadays is NOT a native species to Colorado? Historical records going back to the 1850's indicate that Moose would wander into Northern Colorado from Wyoming but were transient and never established a stable breeding population here. In the 1960's and 1970's Colorado Parks & Wildlife (f/k/a Colorado Division of Wildlife) worked with the National Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, land owners and ranchers on selecting the North Park area of Colorado as the site for the first moose introduction. In 1978 24 Moose were flown in via helicopters from Utah and Wyoming to Colorado's North Park area near Walden. Today Colorado's Moose population is now over 3,000. Not bad for an introduction of a species.

Our Story

Fun half day and full day adventures of Denver, the Foothills, and Rocky Mountains. Our small group tours are designed to get you out to See, Learn and Explore all that Colorado has to offer, not just drive by. We are a small local family owned business , we are 4th generation Coloradans, so we know all the best places to make your trip memorable. We also offer custom and private group tours for parties of all sizes. Come tour with us and enjoy your time in Colorado making memories to last a lifetime.

More about us: We are Christin and Rich and this business is our mid-life crisis, or awakening you might say. We were both comfortable in good jobs but neither one of us was happy with what we were doing. We figured we were not setting a very good example for our 2 young kids so we decided to take a big risk and make a change. That led us to doing what we love, spending time in the mountains, outdoors, enjoying life and sharing the beauty of this beautiful State with visitors. This was the best decision of our lives and we hope we have the opportunity to tour with you.

About our guides: All of our guides are locals and are passionate for the great outdoors. Our guides are very knowledgeable with Colorado history, geology and ecology. They are not scripted so every tour is a unique experience. We are all licensed under the Federal Government and are required to pass DOT physicals, background checks, fingerprinting and have clean driving records. It is our goal to not only provide you with a fun and beautiful experience but a safe one as well.
