11 days in Europe. One carry-on suitcase. One backpack. No checked bags.
I will die on this hill: always carry on. ✈️
Here’s what made the cut and why:
Packing cubes are non-negotiable for me — they’re the only reason a carry-on can hold this much without turning into chaos. Everything has a place and I can actually find it.
I packed for range: sun dresses for daily adventures cause it will be hot, casual clothes for hiking and biking excursions, active attire for workouts and lounging, and swimsuits for the pool on the ship and potential thermal spas!
I rely on sandals during the summer and this trip is no different...and yes, I can walk miles comfortably in them. Toiletries stayed minimal and travel-sized. Electronics were kept to the essentials, although I still have tons of cords.
The honest truth: packing light isn’t about deprivation. It’s about freedom. No waiting at baggage claim, no risk of lost luggage, no lugging a 50lb suitcase up cobblestone streets. Just grab and go.
11 days. One bag. Zero regrets.
