Seriously, what is adventure travel?
I get this question more often than you’d think—and honestly, I love it because the answer is much bigger than most people expect.
Adventure travel isn’t reserved for ultra-runners, mountaineers, or adrenaline junkies. It can be a safari, a river cruise, a scenic train journey, a road trip, a cultural immersion experience, or a multi-day trek.
At its core, adventure travel is about experiences. It’s choosing trips that ask something of you—your curiosity, your perspective, your sense of exploration.
It’s not about how extreme the trip is. It’s about how deeply you engage with it.
