Our final destination was Boston, where we experienced a heatwave. We embarked on another Hop On Hop Off tour, witnessing numerous impressive landmarks. We made a stop at a charming cafe in the North End and took a leisurely stroll on our own. We are contemplating a return visit over a long weekend to explore more of the city's attractions.

Due to weather issues, we were unable to visit St John, NB. On the other hand, we had a great time in Portland, ME today. The weather was superb once more. A tour and self-guided walking tour kept us busy. We had lunch at $3 Deweys, and my fiancée savored a lobster roll! Fora Princess Cruises

Our day in Charlottetown, PEI, was shorter, but we still managed to fit in a nice walk and conversations with friendly locals. We also had a pleasant lunch at Peake's Quay.

Today we arrived in Halifax, NS, and rented a vehicle to drive to Peggy's Cove, which proved to be a remarkable sight. We savored Fish n Chips on the outdoor deck at The Sou'wester, where we received excellent service and enjoyed a delicious meal. Our next destination is Sydney/Cape Breton. Fora Princess Cruises
