Crabbing has really picked up recently! Surfrider caught 146 on the morning trip yesterday, 123 crab on the afternoon trip, and another 139 crab this morning. Join us before the crab season closes! Ling cod bite has picked up the last couple of days with 25+ landed on the Surfrider yesterday and another 18-20 Today. Rockfish bite has been awesome as well with limits or near limits. Crabbing has been up and down this summer, but historically should get better as we go through September. We have trips scheduled daily throughout the fall and into winter(weather dependent). Nice hanger Ljng Cod this morning on the Surfrider and 112 crab. Salmon fishing opens back up tomorrow until the quota is reached, and we're also running our bottom fishing and crabbing trips daily. Scratchy Tuna fishing today, but we landed a Striped Marlin at the end of our trip! It measured 7 feet 3 inches to the end of the bill. The group that chartered the boat fought it for 30 minutes, watched it jump out of the water a few times, and then finally landed it on the starboard side through hull door after backing down on it for a half a mile. Awesome experience!
