❄️ PICTURE THIS…

It’s a cold winter morning. The frost is covering the ground, your breath is rolling through the air, and you’re sitting in the blind with your buddies as the first light starts breaking over the horizon.

The decoys are set, the calls are ready, and suddenly you hear that unmistakable sound of wings cutting through the morning air.

You look up and see ducks working their way toward your spread. Your heart starts pounding as they circle overhead. One pass, then another. The calling gets softer, the birds commit, and before you know it, they’re dropping right into the hole!

At Sherman Creek Outfitters, we’re not just taking people hunting. We’re creating experiences, building friendships, sharing laughs, and making memories that will last long after the season ends.

🏹🐻 ARCHERY BEAR HUNTS — SHERMAN CREEK OUTFITTERS 🐻🏹

If you’ve been waiting for the opportunity to chase a New York black bear with a bow, this is your chance to get in the woods with SCO!

📅 October 1 – November 20
💰 $1,500 per hunter
🏹 5 DAYS OF HUNTING
👥 Groups of up to 6 hunters
🏠🍽️ Package deals for rooms & meals available

These hunts are built around putting hunters in areas where bears are actively traveling and feeding. We’ll be hunting prime bear country with access to active corn fields, giving our hunters an opportunity to catch bears moving through natural feeding areas during archery season.

Whether you’re looking for your first black bear or hoping to put an arrow into a mature bruin, Sherman Creek Outfitters is ready to put in the work. We scout, watch movement, set up our locations and do everything we can to put you in the right place when that bear finally steps out.

And that’s what makes bear hunting so addictive—you can sit for hours listening to the woods, waiting for that one moment when everything changes. Then you hear something moving through the corn or timber, your heart starts pounding, and suddenly all the preparation comes down to one opportunity and one shot.

🙏 At SCO, the hunt is about more than filling a tag. It’s about the outdoors, the friendships made in camp, respecting the animals we pursue, and being thankful to God for every opportunity we’re given to experience His creation.

🔥 LIMITED SPOTS ARE AVAILABLE. Once our available dates are booked, they’re gone.

Bring your buddies, bring your bow, and come spend five days chasing black bears with Sherman Creek Outfitters!

🪿 101 GEESE — THAT’S A WRAP ON EARLY GOOSE SEASON! 🪿

What an incredible early goose season for Sherman Creek Outfitters! From the first morning in the field to the final birds working into the spread, this season gave us memories that will last a lifetime.

We officially finished our early season with a total of 101 Canada geese! 💥

But that number only tells part of the story. This season was about the early mornings, scouting fields, setting spreads in the dark, watching the sun come up over the decoys, calling birds from a distance and seeing them lock their wings and commit. It was about the excitement in the blind, the laughs between volleys, the handshakes after a great hunt, and spending time with some incredible clients, friends and family.

Every bird was earned. Every hunt taught us something. And every person who stepped into the field with SCO became part of this season’s story.

Most importantly, we give all the glory to God. 🙏 Without Him, none of these opportunities would be possible. We’re thankful for the land we’re able to hunt, the wildlife we’re able to pursue, the friendships we’ve built and the freedom to enjoy the outdoors we love.

To everyone who hunted with Sherman Creek Outfitters this early season — THANK YOU. You helped make 101 geese more than just a number. You made it a season we’ll never forget.

Early goose may be finished, but SCO isn’t finished. We’re taking everything we learned, every memory we made and all that momentum straight into the rest of waterfowl season.

101 geese down. Countless memories made. One incredible early season.

There’s no better way to put an exclamation point on a season than a day like this.

The last hunt isn’t just about the birds piled up at the end of the day. It’s about looking around and realizing what the season gave us—the early mornings, long days, laughs, missed shots, birds finishing into the spread, and memories made with good people.

And seeing the younger generation right in the middle of it makes this picture even better. That’s what keeps waterfowl hunting alive. Teaching them to respect the birds, appreciate the outdoors, enjoy the work that goes into a successful hunt, and understand that the memories and friendships are worth more than the final number.

At Sherman Creek Outfitters, we’re grateful for every client, friend, family member, guide, and supporter who shared a blind or field with us this season. Most importantly, we thank God for the opportunity, the beautiful country we get to hunt, and another season of memories we’ll never forget. 🙏

The season may be coming to an end, but SCO is just getting started. If you’ve been watching our hunts and thinking, “I need to experience that,” come make some memories with us next season.

From the first flock to the final retrieve—thank you for another incredible season. Until next time. 🦆🔥

Before the first call is made and the hunt begins, we take a moment to bow our heads and give thanks to God. 🙏🦆

We thank Him for the animals we’re blessed to pursue, the land beneath our feet, the friends and family beside us, and the freedom we have to enjoy the outdoors and the hunting traditions we love.

At Sherman Creek Outfitters, hunting is about more than the harvest. It’s about faith, fellowship, conservation, respect for God’s creation, and never taking these opportunities for granted.

God provides. We give thanks. And we never forget how blessed we are to experience another sunrise in the field. 🇺🇸🙏
