It is spring and that means time to go fishing. Just a quick reminder early call in day for the 2026 season is Tuesday April 1st starting at 8am. With the last few years being so busy don’t miss out on getting your preferred dates for next season. You can call, text or email your preferred dates and I will do my best to make sure you get what you are looking for. This season is about to get started and I am really excited to see all of you. Merry Christmas from from Wine Lake Camp

So we are finally in at Wine Lake. It has been quite the adventure as the ice took its time going out with the cool temps up here. We had to break about 5 miles of ice to get in which made for a long trip. On a better note we have had a couple days of rain and the water has raised about a foot. I did take time yesterday to drive the lake and we are currently able to get into all lakes and our trips into and out of camp should be fine. We will need more rain to either raise the water or at least maintain this level for the summer but as of now we are all good. The fish should start waking up in the next few days. The pike are spawning right now and will be quickly followed by the walleyes. I look forward to seeing you all this summer. Safe travels

The ice is melting quickly and spring is on the way. I will be heading North on Monday to start getting camp ready. We are really excited to get the season going and having you all up north to enjoy all Wine Lake has to offer. See you at the lake soon.
