Fall is our favorite time of year here at East Pass Sailing Co. The best winds and conditions for sailing are from end of August to the end of December. However, the sunsets make the sailing seem an afterthought. Spectacular horizons from out in the Gulf are a thing you must experience once in your life. No engines and no crowds. Just the sounds of the water on the hull, the wind in the sails, and your favorite people beside you sharing a special way to end a day.

We are leaving another busy summer season and entering into our fall season in Destin Florida. The thunderstorms fade, replaced by the regular threat of tropical action, but these days we have plenty of advanced warning. Fall winds are steady out of the North most days, which makes the sailing inshore magnificent on the Emerald Coast. Sometimes 30kt+ steady and even from the northerlies, and for a mile off the beach the Gulf is slick flat.
