Jellyfish season at Crab Island is different every year. It starts sometime in August and ends sometime in September. Some years are worse than others on the amount of jellyfish out there, but it can really be hard to tell what it’s going to be like. The only constant about jellyfish season is that there are significantly less, to even zero jellyfish out at Crab Island during low tide. The best way to check the tides for the day you were interested in going out is to go to US Harbors.com and make sure to search Destin Florida. Low tide and high tide have their own pros and cons for each month, don’t let low tide sway you from booking a trip.
