It’s a gorgeous day at Jetty East in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. After everything settled it looks like the beach didn’t get the huge amount of erosion like was initially thought. We are so blessed! Our thoughts and prayers are still with Panama City and Mexico Beach.

Please say some prayers, send good vibes or thoughts for Jetty East and all the coast as they prepare for Hurricane Michael. This picture is from the we**am this morning and as you can see the waves are already very high up. Preparations are underway at Jetty East to try to prevent as much damage as possible.

Also if you watched the Weather Channel last night they had a Google Earth view of JE and spoke about the surge and what it means to the beach, etc. They might replay it today and it was a very interesting piece.

We will try to keep everyone updated with information as we get it.

A lot of people think summertime is the best time to go to the beach...but my favorite time is September and October. You can’t ask for better water, low crowds and low rental rates. Don’t forget we still have a few open dates in both September and October for you to take that beautiful getaway.

I know I wish I was enjoying this view today!

This year’s children’s activities and live entertainment were so well received that Jetty East has decided to extend them until October 31!

So if you missed out over the summer don’t fret because you will still be able to hear live entertainment on two separate nights, get a glitter tattoo, have your face painted, eat a snowball and have an encounter with some pretty cool animals!!

If you were able to participate in any of the activities over the summer how did you enjoy them? Which ones were your favorites? I know my daughter LOVED the animal encounter!
