As always, we had the most amazing time at Jetty East. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. We love it here!
Also… next time you’re here, be sure to check out Happy Hour at Marina Cafe. Their Early Bird Specials run every night from 5:00 to 6:00 in the dining room. Their food, service, and ambiance are INCREDIBLE.

We had our pictures taken right on our beach.
Bri came to the beach and made it all so easy and fun.

We drive down every August with a car load of tools and my husband works his magic. I am his assistant and the designated painter. 😉
Three projects done this time:
1. A new Custom built door for the hvac closet for a second time. The first custom door served its purpose but took a beating when the hvac was replaced last year. Scott had to cut openings in the new door to probably vent it. He amazes me with his out of the box creativity.
2. The little bar area was 70s “old school” mirrors. Scott built his own floating shelves and it is now “coastal chic.”
3. The foyer was needing some character, so Scott created a feature wall with board and batten.
I am so grateful for his hard work and talent.
Hopefully you can come see it all for yourself someday.

Just when I think we are done with big projects at the condo, my very talented husband has another vision. This is the recessed ceiling in the kitchen.

We are back in our Happy Place. There are many restaurants that we always go to whenever we are here. One of them is Cafe Destin. It’s close to the condo, super cute, and so yummy (decently priced too). Next time you’re here, check it out.
