I always say , but this week was a reminder that living in paradise comes with a few challenges!

Living in Destin, we pretty much took a direct hit from Hurricane Isaias, and what a week it’s been!

Thankfully, my family and I are all safe, back in our homes, and finally tonight have power restored! We’re incredibly grateful that we didn’t experience any major damage. Things could have been so much worse!

If you’ve tried to reach me over the past few days, thank you for your patience! Between evacuating, power outages, limited cell service, and spotty WiFi, it’s been a challenge to stay connected.

I’m working on getting caught up and back to business as usual!

Looking at this map really puts into perspective just how close this storm came to home. 😬

Here’s hoping my slice of paradise gets a LONG break from hurricane season! ❤️🙏🏻
