That's a wrap on Iceland! 🇮🇸🌱

Waterfalls, glaciers, black sand beaches, dramatic coastlines, ridiculously beautiful drives, and the kind of weather that reminds you very quickly who's actually in charge. 😂

In honor of Halloween, we're highlighting a few destinations with a spooky side! 👻💀

From the vampire legends of Transylvania and Edinburgh's underground vaults to Mexico's unsettling Island of the Dolls, these places offer a little more than your typical sightseeing adventure.

And while some of the stories are rooted in folklore, others are connected to very real (and sometimes tragic) history.

Because sometimes the most fascinating part of a destination is discovering the stories hiding beneath the surface.

Albania isn't for everyone. 😬

If you love outdoor adventures, don't mind a little unpredictability, and enjoy getting beyond the usual European tourist trail, you might love it.

If you're looking for luxury, seamless travel experiences, or an incredible vegan food scene, you might find it a little more challenging.

And that's okay!

One of the things we've learned from traveling is that the question shouldn't always be, "Is this destination worth visiting?"

It should be, "Is this destination right for me?"

Will you starve as a vegan in Albania? 🇦🇱🌱

No. But let's just say you might need to lower your expectations a little if you're used to traveling through Europe's more vegan-friendly cities. 😂

Albania has some plant-based options, particularly in Tirana, but once you venture outside the capital, things can get a trickier.

Limited choices, hidden dairy ingredients....Does that mean you shouldn't go? Absolutely not!

Some destinations are worth visiting for the food. Others are worth visiting for the landscapes, culture, history, and experiences.

The trick is knowing what to expect before you arrive.

WE'RE GOING BACK TO THE GALÁPAGOS! And this time, we're going TWICE!

There's something pretty incredible about a place where giant tortoises roam freely, sea lions swim right alongside you, and the wildlife seems completely unbothered by your presence.

Never underestimate the might of a Thai 7-Eleven microwave 🌱

The Jay (vegan) festival in Thailand runs October 9-18, 2026 🇹🇭

A large majority of the country cut out all animal products for the duration of the festival, & shops like 7-Eleven certainly seize the opportunity (not that we’re complaining) 😋

But Jay is a way of life many Thais follow 365 days a year, & their restaurants are difficult to miss, with bright yellow branding & the Jay symbol (which looks like a 17) 🟡

If this is the first time you’ve heard of Jay, next time you’re in Thailand (festival or not), make sure you get to know them a bit better 🍜
