It’s all smiles over here 😁
After a delightfully lazy weekend, I finished this WIP! It’s the Nightfall Cowl, a Yarn Hive exclusive pattern + tutorial (for now!). It feels so good to get this project off my hook, blocked, and on my neck - finally! 😮‍💨
I go through ebbs and flows of productivity these days. I’ll have 6 WIPs going for *months* and finish them all in a weekend 🥵🙈 There’s gotta be a better way! What are your recs for actually finishing the projects you start? 🤔

Two patterns in one week? Your stash will thank me 🙏🏾
Between yarn festivals, trips to my LYS, and special gifts, my stash is nearly at capacity. So it felt extra good whipping through the Bahama Advent Wrap as I opened the skeins back in December. Instead of letting this beautiful advent languish in my closet, the finished wrap kept me warm all winter 🧣

This WIP is all glowed up ✨
The Bahama Advent Wrap (made with ’s 2024 Botanical Fade Advent) is ready to make her debut. Clear those minis out of your stash, or make you 2025 advent plans - you’re gonna want to make this. The relaxing chevron and quick color changes had me one-more-row’ing right through bedtime 😴

Spring has us buzzing with excitement 🌺 Our Honeybee Collection is bursting with golden honey tones to capture the magic of your creativity. I was so inspired by these variegated and tonal beauties, I had to start another Rose Cardigan immediately. These granny squares tho?! 😍
I’m about to hit the ribbing (using the colorway Queen 🤤) and I’m debating on adding buttons to my oversized granny square cardigan. Are you a fan of buttons, or should I leave them off? 🤔

“TuToRiAl ViDeO?!” 🤪😑🙂‍↔️
It’s usually the first comment on every one of my new pattern posts. I get it - they’re helpful for getting through tricky parts. But, assuming the pattern is well written, you can get through it without a video, babes 🙏🏾
With the abundant tutorials on YouTube, many makers see pattern reading as optional, and it breaks my heart 💔 There are hundreds of thousands of crochet patterns in magazines, books, blogs, and websites. And you’re ok with never, ever being able to access them? 🤨
Personally, I think you deserve better. Check out my latest video for a step by step guide on pattern reason for beginners. I guarantee you’ll learn something helpful. 🙌🏾
What’s the most frustrating thing you’ve come across in a pattern? For me, crochet patterns can be so wordy. Why say it with 20 words when you can use 5? 🫠 Check my stories for a link to the video 😘

Fridays are cool, but have you met Sunday? ☀️
Overcast skies with no plans means extended puppy cuddles and finally finishing this WIP. I’ve been meaning to tackle these Happy Place leftovers for a while, and this scrappy linen stitch blanket will be perfect for book binges when the weather warms up.
I still have a half basket of scraps. Is a scrappy linen stitch raglan in my future? Mayyyyybe! 😁
