My Dutchess has begun 🙌🏾
I’ve been chomping at the bit to start my for Rhinebeck. The WIP pile is finally worked down, and I stayed up til an ungodly hour working and reworking this square until I was happy with the colors. Now it’s granny stripe until the end of time 💪🏾
My original plan was to use Happy Place for my cardigan, but that palette wasn’t giving the fall vibes I was looking for. My search for moody shades led me to a new-to-me yarn - Hobbii - Yarn & Free Patterns’s Upcycled Alpaca Blend. It’s a mix of alpaca, wool, and acrylic, about 33% for each. The feel is incredible, and the depth of color is exactly what I wanted. At $14 a skein, it’s a reasonable investment for all the use I’m gonna get out of this cardigan 🤩
Who all is headed to Rhinebeck? I’m calling all crocheters to The Hill Saturday, October 17th at 12noon for a few photo ops. We’ll take a group photo with the Honeybees, then one with all of us in our Dutchess Cardigans, and a final one with ALL the crocheters. Let’s really represent this year 🥳
