I’ve got a little something to brighten up your summer! ☀️

What started as a Yarn Hive-exclusive collab with Nicole of turned into something too good not to share. Meet the Boho Collection - a 10-color palette perfect for those with an adventurous spirit. The love for the Boho Palette was so strong, Nicole and I knew we had to bring it back—bigger and better than ever.

We’re thrilled to release the full Boho Collection to the public this Friday, July 18th at 10am ET, available on the Hue Loco website! And what’s a yarn collection release without an accompanying pattern? Look out for the new Nightfall Cowl, also available on Friday on tlyarncrafts.com.

Originally a mini-skein set, this collab has grown into a full collection of 10 dreamy colorways across all of Hue Loco’s bases—including full skeins, minis, and sock sets. I’m especially obsessed with the mauvy purples, soft sage, and that grounding clay red. It’s the kind of palette that makes you want to start a dozen new projects.

TRUTH TIME: I took a little break from my mood blanket—okay, a three-month break 🫠
Life lifed hard in Q2. After losing my grandma, then my baby girl Sheba, I just didn’t have it in me to document my feelings and crochet about it 💔 But here’s the thing: it’s okay to pause a project when your heart needs time. That’s part of life too. 💛
This weekend, I finally picked it back up, and wouldn’t you know—getting through April gave me the kick start I needed. Catching up stitch by stitch feels like reconnecting with myself again. 🧶✨

Pics or it didn’t happen 😎
I challenged myself to make a new top just in time for the Kendrick/SZA concert—hook in one hand, prayer in the other. Somehow, I pulled it off with minutes to spare!
This mesh beauty came together with a quick raglan base, a folded collar for that polo vibe, and a (totally fake! 😂) button placket to tie it all together. I loved it so much, I wore it again by the Detroit River during my birthday weekend 🌊🎉
One of the best parts of crocheting my own clothes? I never have to wonder if something will fit. Too short? I add rows. Weird sleeves? I frog and try again. On a scale from 1 to 10, how confident do you feel crocheting your own garments? I’m sitting at a cozy 8—confident, but always learning 💪🏽🧶
