Devils Lake has always been a trophy perch fishery, with fish commonly surpassing the 2pound “mark” and fish as short as thirteen and a half inches joining the two pound club. We truly have an amazing fishery and although the numbers are down I have never seen and heard of more giant perch. Not just 2 pounders, but to the tune of over 2.5 pounds already in early winter! Of course these fish are not caught daily and they are a fish of a lifetime. I believe the state record perch is in trouble this year, we have availability to come try your hand at a fish of a lifetime! Maybe even a new state record
