Our cabin is nestled amount these wineries and they are a must visit when staying.

The Yadkin Valley area has over 40 wineries. Today we will be visiting wineries near Elkin NC and some of the best wineries in the area.

Got to enjoy the views from nearby Stone Mountain State Park this weekend. Plenty of nearby hiking to enjoy with 3 NC State Parks and the Mountains to Sea Trail all within a short drive.

Today we hardscaped a path around the cabin, worked on finishing up the primary bedroom and marveled at the signs of spring everywhere.

The cabin is stocked with field guides, board games and art supplies, so plenty of things to keep all ages engaged and entertained while you visit.

The cabin sleeps 6 with 2 queen beds in the upstairs loft and a full size bed in the downstairs bedroom. Each bedroom has an attached full size bathroom as well. The upstairs bedroom is also equipped with a smart television.

Spring is a week away and I can’t wait to see what these woods are hiding. So far we have identified honeysuckle, forsythia, witch hazel, rhododendron, mountain laurel and lilac.🌱
