Today we are excited to announce the 2026 North Carolina Ground Steak Festival WPAQ Bandstand Lineup!

The Bandstand will be located in Dobson Square Park at the Amphitheater. The music is FREE! Bring your lawn chairs, umbrellas, blankets, and the whole family. Picnic Shelters will be open as well for those that would like to eat while watching the music.

The North Carolina Ground Steak Festival takes place on Saturday June 13th, 2026, from 10AM until 8PM in downtown Dobson, NC! This year we will have 4 Official Ground Steak Booths including Flat Rock Ruritan Club, Fat Catz BBQ, Central Cafe, and Boy Scout Troop 553.

The Ground Steak Festival Booths are sponsored by Green Cultivator Dispensary of Dobson.

We will also feature additional food vendors, crafters, bluegrass and old-time string bands, and children's area!

Feast your eyes on the first annual Steak Sprint! This event is a new addition to the North Carolina Ground Steak Festival, hosted in Dobson, North Carolina. The Steak Sprint kicks off the 4th annual Ground Steak festival for those individuals who want to see the wonderful Dobson community with runs through the Dobson Square Park, neighborhoods, and Surry Community College. The Steak Sprint 5K, with only 130 feet in elevation change, allows for the experienced runner to test their speed and beginner runners to test their limits. This family friendly event kicks-off the festival, and participants and guests will be able to experience the coveted ground steak sandwich, local food vendors, craft vendors, and live music following the race. Come on out and savor the moment in Dobson!
