Last week, I shared everything we did & saw while we were in San Diego. Now, I’m sharing how we actually felt about it all!

Day 6 of our San Diego Vacation☀️

💤We planned to squeeze in a final breakfast before returning our rental car, but we slept in instead.

✈️Left San Diego at 12pm PT & landed in New Orleans at 8pm CT

We got the prettiest views of Mission Bay & the Pacific Ocean on our way out, & a beautiful sunset (right before landing in a thunderstorm) on the way in!

Day 5 of our San Diego Vacation☀️

🌊Walked along the La Jolla Coast Walk & watched the kayakers below

🦭Visited the sea lions at La Jolla Cove

🪂Watched the paragliders at Torrey Pines Gliderport & ate lunch at Cliffhanger Cafe

🍕Had pizza for dinner at Filippi’s in Little Italy

🌅Saw sunset at the iconic Sunset Cliffs!

🍦Ended the day with ice cream cones from Scoops in Ocean Beach

Such a great way to end our trip!

Day 4 of our San Diego Vacation☀️

🦒San Diego Zoo!!! It’s world renowned for a reason. The animals were so active. The bus tour was so informative, & the skyfari views were so beautiful!

🌮Walked around, shopped, & ate dinner in Old Town San Diego

This was my favorite day!

Day 3 of our San Diego Vacation☀️

⛴️Rode the ferry from Broadway Pier to the Coronado Ferry Landing

🛺Picked up our ride from Coronado Golf Cart Rentals! (If you book direct, it’s $114 for a 2 hour rental, but I found a discount code for $107 for an ALL-DAY rental instead!)

🥞Ate brunch at Clayton’s Coffee Shop

🍊Rode around Orange Avenue, stopping at shops & places such as The Hotel Del Coronado & Bayview Park

💤Exhausted from the late night prior, we crawled into bed on Mississippi time this night!

Day 2 of our San Diego Vacation☀️

🍴Started our day at Tobey’s 19th Hole Restaurant with the most incredible view of the skyline & planes!

🏛️Strolled through Balboa Park & took in sights like the Botanical Building, Lily Pond, Moreton Bay Fig Tree, & more

🐚Checked out the shops & ate overpriced ice cream cones at Seaport Village

🎫 Highlight of the trip: Noah Kahan concert!!! Concert aside, Petco Park is such a beautiful venue, & the skyline & plane views are amazing!

Day 1 of our San Diego Vacation☀️

Two weeks ago, we landed in sunny California for vacation. This week, I’ll be sharing the details of everything that we did & saw!

✈️ Left New Orleans at 7am CT, landed in San Diego at 10:55am PT

🍔Stopped at In-N-Out for lunch!

🏘️Visited the International Cottages at Balboa Park where we interacted with people and tried foods from many different countries.

🌅Ended the day with sunset on Pacific Beach!

It was such a fun first day of an incredibly memorable trip!
