We Came for Alaska… We Left With New Friends!
We just returned from hosting an incredible group of like-minded travelers on our Alaska adventure, and once again, we were reminded that group travel is about so much more than the destination.
Our journey began with three wonderful days in Seattle, exploring the city together with Earl Alexander, Seattle’s Best Tours before boarding our cruise. From there, Alaska gave us everything we hoped for - Ketchikan, Juneau, British Columbia, salmon, bears, incredible scenery, glaciers, fresh crab and, of course, plenty of delicious salmon!
But one of our favorite moments happened near the end of the trip.
People who arrived as fellow travelers were exchanging phone numbers and addresses, making plans to stay in touch, and leaving as friends. ❤️
That’s what group travel does.
You share meals. You laugh together. You experience new places together. And somewhere along the way, strangers become travel companions - and travel companions become friends.
We may have hosted the journey, but watching those relationships form was one of the greatest rewards of the entire trip.
We’re starting our photo memories with our Seattle adventures, followed by Ketchikan, Juneau, and all those unforgettable Alaska moments.
Come for the destination. Leave with the memories - and maybe a few new friends for life.
