One of the most rewarding aspects of my job, is when clients send me pics! The Thompson family boarded the Enchanted Princess in Civitavecchia (port city for Rome). They received chocolate covered strawberries from me and Paige’s Mom says, “Medallion app vibes, she ordered it herself.” Cruise life is the best left and I happily recommend Princess Cruise Line! 💙. Stay tuned for a 2027 group cruise to the Norwegian Fjords and Iceland!

Until the next time, Virgin Voyages! This was such an enjoyable cruise experience to Alaska! The food and service was excellent, and we lucked out with weather. I never acclimated to the time change, so I was up at 4:30 am to watch the return to
Seattle. I booked a Viator transfer from ship to airport ($58 for 2), Virgin transfers were $100, Uber is running $78-$100+ this morning. Thanks for following along!

Our final stop, Prince Rupert, BC. It’s a charming town. We explored the Sunken Gardens, Cow Bay, and ended with a drink at the Wheelhouse Brewery. We started the day tendering, once the Ruby Princess left, we got dock space. The Seabourn Encore was at anchor all day. We finally made it to one of my favorite spots on the ship, the Dock. We’re still docked, and the sun is shining, so it’s very comfortable to be outside right now.

This is Endicott Arm/Dawes Glacier. Tracy Arm Fjord was originally on this itinerary, it was removed due to landslides. We couldn’t get close to Dawes Glacier today, due to ice. However, it was a gorgeous day to be on deck. The water color is mesmerizing and I loved the waterfalls and ice chunks along the way! This ship has plenty of open deck space for viewing.

Sitka Wildlife!

The snow capped mountains were beautiful as we made our way into Sitka. We enjoyed our Sea otter excursion. In addition to sea otters, we saw sea lions fighting for space on the channel marker, humpback and gray whales. We took the complimentary shuttle into town, had lunch and strolled for a bit. My 2nd choice for a shore excursion would have been the beer sanctuary. I guess I have a reason to return!

We’re gliding into Ketchikan this morning. The last time I was here, I spent the day exploring Creek Street and salmon ladder. Today, we’re headed off to a remote lodge via boat and hike through the Tongass Rain Forest. We’ll be treated to a seafood lunch! Are you a shopper or explorer when you cruise?
