Kokomo felt emotional from the moment I arrived.

The staff welcomed me with a traditional song on the beach, and instantly I understood why so many people return here again and again 🌴

This is barefoot luxury in its most beautiful form. Private beachfront villas, incredible food, a spa you never want to leave, and experiences that make you feel deeply connected to Fiji itself.

One evening looked like curry under the stars with the sound of the ocean in the background. The next day was spent snorkeling the outer reef surrounded by some of the clearest, most vibrant water I have ever seen.

Nanuku felt like the Fiji I had always imagined.

Warm smiles, rich cultural experiences, incredible food, and the kind of hospitality that immediately makes you feel at home 🌺

What stood out most was how effortless the experience felt for families. Every child is paired with a dedicated nanny during their stay, which meant parents could truly relax while the kids had the absolute best time.

I loved biking through the property, jumping into the ocean for water sports, and spending time with the staff who made every interaction feel thoughtful and personal.

And the private island day is an absolute must. Watching families completely unwind while the little ones were entertained so seamlessly felt like luxury in its most meaningful form ✨

Fiji surprised me.

Yes, the water is impossibly blue and the beaches are every bit as beautiful as you imagine, but what stayed with me most was the feeling of the place. The warmth of the people. The slower rhythm of the days. The way each island felt entirely distinct from the next 🌴

One morning looked like snorkeling vibrant reefs straight off the beach, another meant visiting local villages, sunset dinners by the water, and long barefoot walks before breakfast.

What I loved most is how effortlessly Fiji adapts to different styles of travel.
For honeymooners, places like Likuliku and Royal Davui feel wonderfully intimate and secluded. For families, resorts like Nanuku, Kokomo, and Jean-Michel Cousteau create something equally special — thoughtful hospitality that feels deeply personal.

If I could give one piece of advice, it would be this: don’t rush Fiji. The magic isn’t in trying to see everything. It’s in slowing down enough to fully settle into island life ✨
