BUZZ OFF is this Saturday at Dublin Brewing.
This event is not open to general public. If you have an entry in the competition, you are welcome to attend the award ceremony.
It starts at 5PM sharp.
Please read the following from the staff for important details about the event:
Join us for the awards ceremony this Saturday, May 16th at Dublin Brewing in Downingtown, PA for camaraderie, homebrew, and celebration as we wrap up the return of the BUZZ Off Homebrew Competition!
While the judging sessions themselves are closed to the public, the awards ceremony is open to all participants, along with friends and family. We’d love to have you join us!
Here’s the schedule for the day (all times are estimated, as all good homebrew events are!)
• Morning judging begins at 9:00 AM (closed to the public)
• Afternoon session begins at 1:00 PM (closed to the public)
• Best of Show judging will follow (closed to the public)
• Awards presentation is expected to begin around 5:00 PM - We won’t start before 5, so come on in, get comfortable and share a beverage!
If you plan to attend the awards ceremony, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Dublin Brewing is still under construction and is not yet open for regular business, so there will not be beer or food available for purchase onsite. That said, there is a finished dining/bar area with seating and restroom facilities available.
Most importantly - feel free to bring snacks/food, beer, homebrew, etc… to share! We’d love for the awards ceremony to turn into a fun little celebration with everyone hanging out together afterward. So bring something tasty and come ready to raise a glass with fellow brewers and homebrew lovers!
Parking is available behind the brewery or across the street at Kerr Park (entrance next to the Downingtown Library). Please do NOT park in the Aardvark Animal Hospital lot next to the brewery entrance.
Need food? Lione’s Pizza is conveniently right across the street and has excellent pizza, etc... along with a great takeout beer selection.
