Disney Cruise Line Broadway Stars Series!

I’m so excited about this new entertainment offering on select Disney Cruise Line sailings 5 nights or more in 2026 and 2027!

Stars from the Disney on Broadway family will have a performance during the regular show times for families. There may also be a cabaret style performance and an opportunity for meet and greets!

Disney Cruise Line always has amazing broadway style entertainment and this just makes me even more excited to set sail.

I don't always want to feel fancy when I visit the Walt Disney World Resort, but when I do, I LOVE staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort.

This resort is low key luxury with a sand bottom pool and walking distance to EPCOT.

It’s always a great time learning from our Disney Business Development Manager, Lauren. Not only do we share a name, we share a big passion for Disney!

Lauren joined the team live and in person last night to chat with us about all things Cool Kids Summer and Disney Cruise Line!

I love getting the opportunity to have a strong relationship with the Disney team. They help provide us with opportunities to learn and experience Disney Destinations so that we can provide our clients with the most magical experiences ever!

There are many reasons to love a Disney Cruise vacation.

Here are 5 reason why moms I've worked with loved their Disney Cruise:

1. Everything is taken care of - You don't have to think about what to make for dinner or if the kids will enjoy the meal. You don't have to clean, vacuum, or make the beds. Heck, even your luggage just shows up at your door.

2. Stress-Free Dining - The most stressful thing about dining on a Disney Cruise is worrying if you are ordering too much off the menu (you're not btw). There are options for everyone & allergies are handled with extra care. When my daughter wouldn't eat hamburgers, we called them flat meatballs and she loved them. The servers started asking her if she wanted a flat meatball instead of a hamburger. That is Disney magic making meal time much easier.

3. Built In Kids Clubs - A place that kids actually enjoy going to! They have so much fun in the kids club. There is always something to do! You may find yourself wondering, "What do we do now?" Use that time to hit the adults only pool, have a drink at the bar, play some trivia, or enjoy a beverage tasting. The kids are occupied so do something that YOU want to do.

4. Entertainment for Everyone - From Broadway style shows to variety acts for all ages, there is truly entertainment for everyone. Our last cruise had an Irish band in the pub almost every night. The kids had science time in the kids club. There were adult only performances of the variety acts later in the evenings. The entertainment options are endless.

5. The Perfect Mix of Me Time + Family Time - From having coffee on the verandah while the family sleeps in to competing in a family game show, there are many ways that moms find it easy to have a strong mix of family time and me time. A favorite secret of mine is ordering Mickey Bars through room service after the kids are asleep and eating them in bed!

Disney Cruises are truly a vacation. My clients love the tips and tricks I provide to help them truly relax and enjoy their trip. No extensive planning. No park strategies needed. Just show up and set sail.

Today is National Travel Advisor Day!

I am forever humbled to be a travel advisor and that someone believed that I was skilled enough to do it. This job has allowed me to gave incredible travel experiences with (and without) my family. It’s also allowed me to plan memorable vacations for incredible clients.

There is nothing like experiencing the feeling I get when helping clients plan an amazing vacation! I’ve helped clients plan regular vacations, special birthday celebrations, group trips, girls trips, anniversary trips, and the list goes on.

When I started as a travel advisor it was just Dave and I. I was really good at planning travel for solo travelers and couples. Now with B, I’ve learned how to be really good at also planning family travel for families of all ages.

Two of my favorite things are:

1. Watching my clients go from solo/couples travel to groups/family travel

2. When my clients come home and tell me about all the new and exciting memories they made on their trip.

So whether you are a client I’ve worked with for multiple trips or one trip or just someone who is considering using a travel advisor for a future trip, thank you for being here. I hope I can continue to help you plan your next great adventure!

Happy Independent Bookstore Day!

You know that we LOVE finding local bookstores wherever we travel to! Supporting Independent Bookstores is critical to community infrastructure and growth. Plus, they usually have some of the BEST books.

Today B and I visited one of our favorite local bookshops and got some new books to add to her collection. B tried to get me to buy her another pack of playing cards and with her amazing luck she won a FREE pack. She chose axolotl ones and is over the moon!

Pics 2-3 are from our recent trip to Cartagena, Colombia where we stumbled upon . It was the prefect place for us to stop and we highly recommend it!

Pics 4-5 are from in Lisbon, Portugal. This bookshop is the OLDEST operating bookshop. They will even stamp your book with a seal to say so. We loved visiting this store and seeing the history it had!

For our family, travel includes immersing ourselves in the places we visit.

Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Lab on a Disney Cruise are dedicated spaces just for kids!

They are like mini day camps that are included in the cost of your cruise! There’s always something going on and kids LOVE going!

The best part? Kids can go for as long as you or they like. That means you get some time to yourself and the kids get some on their own too.

Looking for ways to have some balance of togetherness and alone time? Set some non negotiable times.

For us, that means:
- dinners are always together, unless mom and dad have a special one.
- shows are always together
- a few hours each day are spent on together activities (arts and crafts, pool, bingo, trivia, etc).
