🚨TSA is expected to do away with their shoe removal policy for airport security screenings starting as soon as Sunday at many US Airports and expanding nationwide shortly after! This doesn't change anything for those with TSA PreCheck but is expected to speed up lines for travelers without that program.

With peak summer travel season ramping up in many destinations around the world don't forget to update your Uber App settings to "no preferred currency" when using Uber abroad! If you don't Uber will charge you a 1.5% currency conversion fee. It's easy to change your settings just open the Uber app , go to Account, click on Wallet and under Preferred Currency select " No preferred currency" (may also appear as "always pay in local currency").

Do you know the difference between a passport book and a passport card? The U.S. passport book is the only document approved for international AIR travel. The passport card costs less, but can only be used at U.S. land and sea border crossings. Both can be used as a Real ID for domestic travel. You can apply for a passport book and card on the same passport application. Learn more at travel.state.gov/passport

Starting today, January 8th 2025, travellers (including children and infants) from visa-exempt countries, such as the United States, Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Mexico, will need an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) to enter the UK.
Cost: £10

Validity: ETA allows multiple visits up to 6 months at a time over two years or until your passport expires.

Application Process: Submit your application through the official UK government website (GOV.UK) before your trip to ensure timely approval.

*Please note you will need an ETA even if you are just transiting through the UK. That means if you have a layover in an airport in the UK to connect on to another destination you still have to get an ETA.

For those of you reaching out asking about whether I think your beach vacation in this area later this week or in two weeks will be okay ... Unfortunately no. Please be patient with tourism on the West Coast of Florida, they are cancelling your reservation because the beach is no longer the beach, sand is piled 10ft plus high along the roads mixed with debris and everything is a mess to put it nicely, including many accomodations which need to be cleaned, checked for structural damage, repaired, and likely need to have power restored. We have no idea how long it'll take to sift/clean the sand and move it back out to the beach where it belongs but everything will take time. The beaches will be back as soon as possible!
