The home was built for the view, not the listing

Teton Lookout sits where the morning light first hits the range. Coffee on the deck. The Grand Tetons are framed by the windows. This is what space looks like when you stop sharing it with a crowd.

Most people drive past the best float in Idaho

The Teton River moves slowly on purpose. Bring a paddle, a cooler, and an afternoon you don’t plan to rush. Bald eagles overhead. Cottonwoods on the banks. Full guide on the site, save this one for July.

Comment ‘RIVER’ for the full guide.

June in Teton Valley, explained in one photo 🏔️

The wildflowers turn. The river runs. The light finds the windows. Targhee opens June 12. The porch is waiting.

Make the Teton a valley your summer retreat this year.

We needed a cabin for 14.

Most were either too small, too expensive, or too strange to book for a group. Then we found this one 🏔️

@[guest] brought 14 people to [property] for a birthday weekend — three generations, one kitchen that somehow worked, and a math problem on direct booking vs splitting an Airbnb that wasn’t close.

Memorial Day was the warm-up.

Yellowstone’s last seasonal road (Dunraven Pass) opened yesterday.

Grand Teton’s been open all month.

Targhee summer kicks off June 12.

The valley is fully unlocked for the first time all year — and the next four weekends of June are the ones to book.

Four weekends. Four cabins. Pick yours.

→ Weekend One · June 5-8 — Teton Lookout & Daydream are the only Basecamps available still.

→ Weekend Two · June 12–14 — Teton Lookout & Huckleberry are the only Basecamps available still.

→ Weekend Three · June 18–21 — Daydream & Arrowhead are avilable. It’s Father’s Day, Summer Solstice, and the longest weekend of the year.

→ Weekend Four · June 25–29 — Teton Lookout & Elk Ridge are the only Basecamps available still.

Pick the weekend, lock the cabin. The best ones for prime weekends go first—Tuesday-after-Memorial-Day bookings are still a week ahead of panic.

And what’s next: Targhee lifts turn back on June 12. Summer opening weekend cabins go first — that’s history.

A long-weekend bucket list for Teton Valley.

Top eight things to do. Pick four. Or six. Or all eight if you stay through Monday.

01 — Float the Teton River. Lower flow, fuller sun. The valley’s most underrated three hours.

02 — Drive Teton Pass at sunset. 9:15 PM golden hour, you and three other cars. The first weekend it’s been this clear all year.

03 — Coffee on the porch, Tetons close. The slow start that justifies the early flight.

04 — Hot tub past 10 PM. The light stays. So do you.

05 — Drive into Yellowstone. South Entrance and Dunraven Pass are open as of this week. The full loop, finally drivable.

06 — Dinner in Driggs. Forage. Citizen 33. Royal Wolf if you want the porch. Reservations or get there at 5:30.

07 — Sunrise hike to Table Mountain trailhead. You won’t summit. You don’t need to. The first hour is the trip.

08 — Do nothing on Monday. Late checkout. Long breakfast. Drive home Tuesday.

Save this for Memorial Day. Or July 4th. Or Labor Day. The list doesn’t expire — and the cabin’s in the bio link when you’re ready.
