BP IMAGE INSIGHT from the shoreline of Caesarea in Israel where we are reminded that, "the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their pounding waves. More than the sounds of many waters; more than the mighty breakers of the sea, The LORD on high is mighty" (Psalm 93:3-4).
Jennifer Spredemann once said, "we may not always understand the why, but we can trust the Who." What we know about God is that God He takes no pleasure in wickedness, for there is no evil in Him (Psalm 5:4). He is touched by the feelings of our infirmities (Hebrews 4:14-16).
Like the Psalmist, we can confidently say of God, “You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book” (Psalm 56:8).
So, while the waters roar and foam, and the mountains move, we will always remember that, "God is our refuge and strength" (Psalm 46:1-3). In the holy habitation of God, "there is a river whose streams make glad the city of God...God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved" (Psalm 46:4-5).
