You never know what you’re going to see on the island! Karen and I were driving back to town from Beavers on Drummond Island, and an American Bittern was swallowing a fish on the side of the road. It flew, and we followed it to the marsh next to the lake near the Jeep repair shop. Listen to this unique bird sound! 🎧
