As Drake DePaul 5k approaches, we wanted to share an important update for those traveling to Drummond Island for the Drake DePaul 5K.

While registration and check-in will begin as scheduled, the race itself will not start until approximately 10:15–10:30 a.m.

This adjustment is being made to allow participants arriving from the mainland enough time to make the ferry crossing and get to the starting area comfortably.

The Drake DePaul 5K has become a meaningful tradition for many families, friends, and visitors who return each year to take part in an event that brings the community together while honoring Drake's memory.

If you haven't registered yet, there's still time. We'd love to see both familiar faces and first-time participants at the starting line next Sunday.

Will this be your first Drake DePaul 5K or have you participated in previous years?

There are plenty of ways to spend a summer evening on Drummond Island, but few are as uniquely local as Baked Good Bingo.

Each Wednesday, the community comes together for a night of friendly competition where the prizes aren't cash—they're homemade baked goods created by local volunteers.

Every donation helps support a different local organization, making each game a fun way to give back while enjoying a longstanding island tradition.

On June 17 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm Baked Good Bingo will support the Drummond Island Grooming Association.

Donations from the evening help us continue promoting the island, supporting local businesses, and sharing the experiences that make Drummond Island a destination people return to year after year.

If you're visiting Drummond this summer, add Baked Good Bingo to your Wednesday plans and experience a side of island life that keeps people coming back year after year.
