Other than getting lost getting to the parking garage at 6:00 AM, it was a very smooth travel day. This was my first flight on Virgin America and it was very nice. I knitted on the entire flight so it went pretty quickly for me. We got our luggage very quickly and then took the free shuttle offered by The Fairfield Inn. The hotel is filled with cruise passengers since it is convenient to the port in Ft. Lauderdale and offers a shuttle to the pier ($8.00 per person). This morning we had a Free continental breakfast. Not fabulous, but still nice to have it free. Excited to board the ship and start our fun trip!

With all of the travel I do, you would think that I would not have to stay up getting ready the night before I leave.

Final haircut today before I leave. Better get packing too!!! I hate to pack. I just can never decide what to bring and the weather is always changing so I end up bringing everything.

Picked up my euros today for my upcoming trip to Europe. YIKES-the exchange rate is awful right now.

Almost ready to head out to CLIA 360 in Ft. Lauderdale to learn the latest on the cruise industry. Always a very informative conference. Especially love the ship inspections. Looking forward to touring the Allure of the Seas.

Celebrity announced today that the "Solcitized" Millenium will be heading to Asia for the winter 2012/2013 season. It will visit nine new countries including Vietnam, Thailand and China including a special winter solstice sailing. I wanna go!!! Anyone else?
