Looking for a Halloween outing that’s more sweet than spooky? Boo at the Zoo is back at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium! 🎃

Bring your costumes and treat bags for a day of trick-or-treating, animal encounters and fall fun. This year’s Trick-or-Treat Trail has 11 candy stops and two teal pumpkin stations with candy alternatives. You can also dance at the new Rave at the Grave DJ party, explore the hay maze and meet the Zoo’s Character Ambassadors.

Boo at the Zoo runs Saturdays and Sundays, October 3–25, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Activities are included with regular Zoo admission and free for Columbus Zoo members. Some rides and attractions cost extra.

Did you know Dublin has its own real-life treasure hunt? 🗺️✨

Riverboxes combine geocaching with public art, nearly 20 hidden art vessels tucked into parks and green spaces across Dublin, each one inspired by local history, nature, and creativity.

Here's how it works:
🥾 Grab your walking shoes, water, and a pen
🗺️ Use the digital map (or page 5 of your passport) to pick your starting point
🔍 Follow the clues to find each Riverbox
📖 Stamp your passport with the artist-made stamp inside
✍️ Sign the log book at each artwork
🎨 Admire the art, then tuck everything back inside for the next explorer
🎁 Turn in your completed passport (13+ boxes found) online or in person for a reward

It's free, it's outdoors, and it's a great excuse to discover parts of Dublin you've never explored.
