A busy fun last day in Norway! Our first stop today was at one of the stave churches, then up the mountain on the funicular for a beautiful view of the city below. A little shopping and a short break before our walk back to our ship.
Iris & Kathy visited a traditional Norwegian farm and enjoyed the interaction.
Not looking forward to our long flight home but ready to be home!

An awesome day Friday! We were docked in Ketchikan for the day and I took an excursion “Wilderness Cruise & Silver king Lodge seafood feast”. We took a motor coach out of town about a half hour out to catch a boat that took us to the lodge (a half hour boat ride out to an island) and some site seeing. The boat ride was awesome as we watched eagles catching fish and our seafood Feast was just that a FEAST! A great way to spend my day plus the weather was perfect in the 70’s!
Some men had just gotten back from fishing as we got back so I took some pictures of their catch!

A fun morning yesterday stopping at Martin Buser’s Happy Trails Kennel. Martin and his dogs ran in many Iditarod races....

A fun morning yesterday stopping at Martin Buser’s Happy Trails Kennel. Martin and his dogs ran in many Iditarod races.
Petting the dogs and holding the puppies! The demonstration on dressing the dogs for the Iditarod was very interesting. I loved the sidewalk with the dog footprints! đź©·đź’™
