Another amazing SOLD OUT trip to the Minnesota State Fair today! Weather was perfect, we filled up on all the cookies and foods on a stick, and traveled home full and happy!

Make sure to join us next year on Monday, Aug. 30, 2027 for our annual tour! It sells out every year, so make sure to sign up early when it goes on sale!

WILD WEST FINALE…

The past few days of our adventure have been breathtaking! We started with a scenic drive through the Wildlife Loop at Custer State Park where we saw plenty of wildlife. We experienced a South Dakota Traffic Jam of a herd of bison blocking the road! 🦬

We then ventured to one of our nations best monuments - Mount Rushmore National Memorial. We were able to stay and experience the Nighttime Lighting Ceremony, which was spectacular!

Day six brought us to Badlands National Park on our way to Sioux Falls. WOW! What an incredible sight to see. The cliffs, valleys and buttes were unbelievable.

Along the way, we also made a stop to see the Dignity of Earth and Sky statue honoring the Lakota people, and the famous Corn Palace in Mitchell.

Time is running out to register for our annual day trip to the beautiful lakeside community of Bayfield, WI on Saturday, October 3!

You will make stops at historic apple orchards to fill up on all your apple goodies. Then, it is off to the historic Old Rittenhouse Inn to enjoy a “Victorian luncheon”. Following lunch, take in the Bayfield Apple Festival and browse the many arts, crafts, and food booths set up around town.

WILD WEST ADVENTURE cont..

We hit the road for day three and to Devils Tower National Monument, with all its breathtaking beauty. Geologists believe it was created more than 50 million years ago. Some brave souls were scaling the rocks!

From there, we headed to Deadwood for the night! We witnessed the Wild Bill shootout, enjoyed walking the historic streets, and toured Mount Moriah Cemetery - the final resting place of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane.

We ended our 4th night with an amazing western experience - the Chuckwagon Ride and Cookout in Custer State Park. Yeehaw! 🤠

WILD WEST ADVENTURE;
We have had just the best two days exploring North Dakota and Medora!

🦬 We visited Thunder the Buffalo in Jamestown
🪿 Made a stop at the Geese In Flight statue, which is the start of the Enchanted Highway.
🤠 Arrived in beautiful Medora, and visited Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the brand new m Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library
🥩 You can’t come to Medora without enjoy the Pitchfork Steak Fondue Dinner!
🎭 We wrapped up our amazing stay at the Medora Musical, honoring America’s 250 birthday!

What an incredible journey we went on throughout the beautiful country of France! 🇫🇷

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and followed along, on our Paris and the Heart of Normandy Viking Cruise. We had such a fun group of people who only made this tour even more special. 🙏🏼

We had the most unforgettable day of our Viking journey through France.

We began the day at the Caen Memorial Museum, where we learned not only about the D-Day invasion, but also the events that led to the liberation of Europe.

From there, we traveled to Omaha Beach and the Normandy American Cemetery overlooking the bluffs above the shoreline. Nearly 9,400 Americans are laid to rest there, marked by rows of white crosses and Stars of David. Standing on that sacred ground, looking down at Omaha Beach, it’s impossible not to reflect on the courage of the Allied troops who forever changed the course of World War II, and the world.

May we never forget their sacrifice, and may we always strive to be worthy of it.
