Walking Tours are seasonal, running from June through Halloween-And that’s very dependent on what the temperatures are like around the weeks before Halloween as we will be outside walking for just over two hours.

You are entering through a mythical doorway.

I walked through the Fountain of the Wind in Canal Park — a bronze and glass sculpture by artist Douglas Freeman, designed in 1993. This isn't just public art. It's a living story that shifts with light, seasons, and the person experiencing it.

Wildcat Dreaming sits at its center — a creature born from the collision of cultures, the lake legends of the Three Sisters, and the Ojibwe Meshi Peshu, the underwater panther. I gave her a high five. Because sometimes respect for the mythological means saying hello.

The sturgeon guard both entrances. Ancient Jurassic fish that have patrolled Lake Superior for millennia. The lighthouses stand witness. And the stepping stones guide you through it all.

The sculpture tells no single story. The stories are yours to tell.

Only a few spots open for tonight's 👻 tour! Learn about our city history, the tragedies, and things still left behind.

You can brave the full 3- hours, or you can sign up for the first half or the second half in case you are limited for time. I like to create options now because I understand how summer can get busy for people as well as sometimes people don't like standing for walking for three hours.

It's only just over a mile and a half that we walk in total but there's plenty of opportunity to stop and rest.

Just a little update about the status of Tours tonight during Grandma's marathon. I knew I probably shouldn't have opened them up because it's just too crazy too busy too loud especially with the Free concert tonight.

And also a little PSA about supporting small businesses and booking through third-party vendors.

Just a little update about these storms that are coming in and the Tours tonight. Yes it's sunny and gorgeous out right now... but around 8:30-10pm it is not looking pretty.

Hoping it takes a turn for the better, if not, please book for tomorrow's tour instead. Because I cannot conduct a tour with electronics in the rain and standing by the water waiting for lightning ⚡️ strike

Also a little PSA about exercising the demons from your aching body and post-op surgery by getting in to do some aqua therapy.

I know odd sidenote for a ghost tour. 😆

Just want to share a couple of stills with an original recording at my Haunted Casket Quarry hike tonight.

The minute we got out of the brush and back on the trail, I stopped and said, "Everybody check for ticks!" And wouldn't you know it, I had one on my leg!! 😳

I started the tours too early because it wasn't dark enough when we finished. So I'm moving the time to 8 PM. When I started them last year it was in September, so it was already getting dark by 8:30.

Join me on a hike away from the busy Canal, esp tonight, as Grandma's Marathon starts tomorrow! Learn about our historic Quarry and a ghost story along the way. This isn't a full Ghost Tour, but because I talk about a haunting, some spooky local Lore plus we conduct a paranormal investigation at the end, I have to call it a Haunted Tour. All it takes is one superstitious person to get scared.
