Our newest English adventure explores the fascinating connections between wool, literature, history, & landscape as we travel from Bath to the Cotswolds & onward to Oxford.⁠

We'll follow Jane Austen through the elegant streets of Bath, visit independent yarn shops, meet shepherdesses & rare-breed sheep farmers, explore historic wool towns & magnificent "wool churches," & spend time in the countryside that helped shape England's rich textile heritage.⁠

Then we'll conclude in Oxford, where literary giants such as Tolkien, Lewis, & Lewis Carroll found inspiration among ancient colleges, winding lanes, riverside walks, & welcoming pubs.⁠

Meet 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫—with a background in Classics & Modern Greek, Semele has spent years living, working, & traveling through Greece & Italy—always with a project in hand & an eye out for textile traditions along the way.⁠

Now based in the Welsh countryside, she’s often found trying to recreate a Mediterranean summer with a shawl or jumper on her needles… or searching for the perfect coffee & cake between swims, books, & writing her novel. ☕📚⁠
