I was having coffee with a friend yesterday when she asked me a question that got me thinking…☕️🧙♀️
“What do you DO at your travel convention?” 🤔
And then I thought… wait a minute! 👀 Are Y’ALL curious about that, too?!
So let's pull back the curtain on WIZARDCON — our travel agency's annual conference! 💜✨
No, we don't just spend a few days talking about vacations and drinking coffee (although I wouldn't complain about that 😂☕️).
There is SO much more that goes into this experience!
✨ CONNECTIONS & BRAINSTORMING
One of the best parts of WizardCon is getting agents together in one place!
We share ideas, talk about our businesses, brainstorm, and learn from each other. Sometimes the best ideas come from a conversation you didn't even know you needed to have!
📚 TRAINING, TRAINING & MORE TRAINING!
This year, we had some wonderful presenters from Disney, Carnival, and Allianz! We learned more about the products and experiences we help our clients book, along with the importance of protecting those hard-earned vacation dollars. 💰🛡️
🛳️ HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES
We had the opportunity to tour the beautiful Disney Wish! 😍
And THIS is why experiences like these matter.
There's a difference between reading about a cruise ship and actually walking aboard, exploring the spaces, and seeing what it offers firsthand.
That knowledge helps me better explain the experience to YOU when we're planning your next adventure!

We even had some fun with a travel-themed version of Family Feud and many other games! 😂 Because learning doesn't always have to mean sitting in a room taking notes!

WizardCon is also a time to recognize the incredible work our agents do throughout the year. From sales achievements to going above and beyond for the agency, we get to celebrate the people who make our community so special!

Because after all that learning, networking, and celebrating, it's time to let loose, have fun, and enjoy being together! 🥳💃
But if you ask me what the BIGGEST takeaway is from WizardCon, it comes down to this…

Getting to know other agents, hearing how they run their businesses, learning what works for them, and discovering new ways to serve our clients is invaluable.
I always walk away with ideas on how I can improve my business, serve my clients better, and bring even MORE magic to the vacations I help plan. ✨
Because being a travel agent isn't just about booking a hotel or finding a cruise. It's about continuously learning, growing, and making sure I'm bringing the best knowledge and support I can to YOUR vacation planning experience!
